How accurate is this?
Fairly accurate. There will be some slight deviation depending on your card mix, but most gyms we've looked at save a significant amount of money.
What is interchange-plus pricing?
You pay the card networks' published interchange rate, plus a fixed 0.35% and 10¢ per charge. No tiers, no markup on interchange, no hidden monthly fees. Most processors quote one flat rate that bakes their margin into every card type.
How are you able to offer such low transaction rates?
We negotiate on behalf of every gym on Mithly. Our payments partner has locked in rates for the whole network that a single gym could never get on its own.
Is there anything to pay beyond $100 a month?
No setup fee, no contract, cancel anytime. Processing is charged as above. The calculator compares card fees only, so the $100 a month comes out of the saving it shows.
Is it difficult to migrate from my current platform?
No. We migrate everything for you: members, memberships and saved cards. Cards move between processors as tokens, so members never re-enter a card. If your current platform charges a migration fee, we cover it.
